Pastor Jimmy Swogger
Pastor Swogger is experienced in preaching and music ministry. Prior to full-time ministry, Jimmy traveled 11 years in the gospel concert ministry. He is quoted as saying he “believes that music will forever make a deep and lasting impression on this world.” Pastor Swogger is dedicated to Oakland Church of God and pours his heart and soul into everything he does.
Pastor Anthony Rosario-Adams
Pastor Anthony accepted the position of youth pastor in November 2019. Prior to full-time ministry, he held various positions working with youth and families. His passion is to connect new Christians with mature Christians who can mentor them and help build a strong Christian foundation. Pastor Anthony is excited to work with the youth as they are the future, not only of our church, but of our world.
Sherri Slack, Administrative Assistant
Serving our church since 1978, Sherri is the first person to greet you when you come to our church office. She is available Monday through Friday in the office from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Besides all her secretarial duties, she also is the church’s assistant treasurer.
